bike fit process
We aim to provide a comprehensive bike fit driven by each individual's needs and biomechanics. Each fit is bespoke to each rider. We use a blend of testing, rider feedback, scientific data and video analysis to find your best fit.
Trained as a bike fitter at Torke Systems and following International bike fitters institute approved courses we apply a philosophy that keeps the rider at the centre of the fit.
So, whether you are experiencing discomfort while riding, looking to see if you could ride more efficiently (or quickly) or thinking of buying a new bike a bike fit is probably a very worthwhile activity.
PRICING
Currently a bike fit is £125 and takes approximately 2 hours. A second bike is £75 and follow up visits for minor tweaks and adjustments are free - they are part of the ongoing service and relationship that we see as part of good bike fit.
LEOMO
We use Leomo motion sensors during the fit to help benchmark your biomechanics.
Video analysis
We wil also use some analysis so that you can see your position on your bike during the fit.
Location
We currently complete most of our bike fits from a unit near Six Hills on the A46 between Nottingham and Leicester. However we can fit from a small studio in Lady Bay or even from your home - although this may require some minor adjustments.
What we don't do ...
Although foot inserts, new shoes or a swanky new saddle can be a great addition this is not something that will form part of this bike fit. The good news is that we can point you in the right direction if you need inserts or shoes and we do keep a variety of saddles around for you to try if yours is in need of a change.
