Endurance Coaching

our approach

We aim to offer high quality structured coaching and support for people with fitness goals in endurance sports.  We are ready to support athletes looking to improve their performance, hit a time goal or achieve an age- group time. 

We also love working with athletes who have taken the leap into endurance sport and have decided to run their first marathon or even their first Iron distance triathlon!

While some elements of endurance training are likely to be similar for most people, we will work to build a bespoke plan for you - reflective of your current fitness, your goals and the reality of your busy life!

We also will not tie you in financially at any point.  We want to ensure that you not only achieve your goals but also feel that you have achieved good value from our services. 

All of our pricing below is a guideline - if you do not see a package that works for you please get in touch: we can probably sort something out!


Run

We offer training packages for all endurance distances on road or trail. We also offer run analysis using motion capture software & video. 

Triathlon & multisport

We offer training packages for all triathlon events, including 70.3 and Iron distance. We also offer packages for multi-sport athletes such as duathlon and aquathon. 

training peaks

We use Training Peaks as the common platform to structure, record and analyse your training. It is easy to use, is downloadable as a simple App and links to almost all smart watches/ health sensors. It also links to many training hubs such as Wattbike and Wahoo. 

Packages

Everything we do is bespoke - we do not recycle 'off the shelf' plans so following an initial assessment we will buld a plan for you that reflects not only your targets and goals but also your real-life commitments such as work, family and time available. We are also able to regularly adjust and amend these plans when work gets busy, life gets hectic or an injury occurs. 


Assessment only

We know that some of you may not quite be ready to step into a coached model and like a degree of 'self-coaching. Therefore if you would like a general assessment and a fixed plan built to you and your needs (but with limited coaching along the way) then we can offer these at approximately £49 for a single run event or £99 for a triathlon/multi-sport. 


Coached model

Available as an ongoing monthly package for those looking to build and develop their performance over time the coached plan includes:

Access to Training Peaks 

A bespoke structured plan - including unlimited adjustments

Regular (generally daily) email/ training peaks analysis and feedback on workouts

Weekly online meet or video setting out your week

Monthly detailed analysis and face-to-face review of plan and progress

Support with all apsects of performance - including strength & conditioning, nutrition, race preparation etc

Bike fit (for those using a bike, obviously!)

Run gait analysis

Coached run sessions

Swim observation/ coaching - including open water

Zwift rides

Costs for the coached model are typically £49 pcm for single sport coaching or £75 for multi-sport coaching. There are no tie-ins to the monthly costs and these can be stopped at any time. 


One-off events

All elements of the coached model are available as a 'one-off' package. This is suitable for those who do not want to get into monthly charges, for those who would like to buy some coaching & support for a loved one as a present or for those targetting a very specific event - such as the London marathon or a single Ironman event. Costs for the one-off package are typically £199 for a single sport event or £399 for a multi-sport event. If you purchase a one-off package and an injury (or life) gets in the way we will always try to honour the package and support you at a later event.
